All Aimpoint red dot sights are unmagnified 1X reflex sights with unlimited eye relief, and outstanding battery life measured in years. Aimpoint are the leading supplier of reflex sights for NATO forces and law enforcement agencies across the western world. Reflex red dot sights made by Aimpoint are the gold standard for rifle or carbine-mounted red dots against which all others are compared.
Aimpoint warranty
The Aimpoint Warranty is for a limited period, only for the original purchaser, and only covers defects (not damage).
Where are Aimpoint optics made?
All Aimpoint optics are manufactured in Sweden.
Understanding Aimpoint models
The Aimpoint PRO (Patrol Rifle Optic) is the entry point for their full-size tactical rifle optic. The Aimpoint ACO (Aimpoint Carbine Optic) is the more affordable civilian version of the Aimpoint PRO, sharing the same housing and lens system, but with less battery life, a simplified mount, lower submersible rating, no night vision modes, and no lens covers.
The Aimpoint Micro T-1 and T-2 are the tactical versions of their micro-sized rifle optics. The Micro H-1 and H-2 are the corresponding hunting versions of the T-1 and T-2 optics, lacking night vision modes and with lower submersible ratings. The Micro T-1 and H-1 have been discontinued (replaced by the T-2 and H-2 versions) and are available at close-out pricing.
